I grew up on the Boston South Shore and lived here until the early 80s. I bought my first camera in the early 60’s and have been taking photographs ever since.

After I moved to California in the early 80s my husband, Glenn, introduced me to underwater photography. There I won numerous awards in underwater photography competitions and had images exhibited in Monterey Peninsula galleries.

Since returning to the South Shore in 2002 I have won place awards in juried exhibitions at local art festivals, including 2nd Place Color at the Duxbury Winter Fest, 3rd place Color at the Quincy Arts Fest, and have been included in exhibits at the North River Arts Center, the Duxbury Arts Center, and the Plymouth Center for the Arts where I am a Gallery Artist.

Capturing a moment in time and making it my own. Although the end results may not always be to my liking, the act of composing and taking the photograph are exciting in themselves. Selecting through the viewfinder isolates the view to specific content and forces me to see things differently.
